To all that would like to add to this blog please let me know by sending an e-mail to Standrewschapel@aol.com and I will invite you. After that you will be able to post stuff on the blog page instead of just commenting. If you would like to comment you can or you could write your own entry. I think this is a perfect way to use this blog. Thank you a bunch Anne....
Just in case no one realizes it yet... we only have 1 week until the installation! I can't wait. I have been getting phone calls from the invities and they all sound very nice and are looking forward to a fun evening. I expect that we all will have a great and I know that I am excited to have Dan for our very own first Vicar! See you on Sunday!

Unfortunately I won't be here for the installation and celebration as I'm going to NC on Saturday for my father's birthday. But you will all be in my prayers and especially Fr. Dan - for a glorious day and a joyous gathering!
Also, The Mission will be shown at OCCC on Wed 4/23 at 7:15 in the Harriman Hall Film Theatre. This is a movie Fr Dan had mentioned awhile back.
From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mission_(film)-
The film is set during the Jesuit Reductions, a programme by which Jesuit missionaries set up missions independent of the Spanish state to teach Christianity to the natives. It tells the story of a Spanish Jesuit priest, Father Gabriel (Jeremy Irons), who enters the South American jungle to build a mission and convert a community of GuaranĂ Indians to Christianity.
and there's more
I don't know if I will make it but perhaps others will want to.
Anne
